A 43-year-old Master Sergeant assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado, died in a motorcycle mishap in Colorado Springs at local. The Soldier’s motorcycle collided with a passenger car. The Colorado Springs Police Department and emergency medical services personnel responded to the scene, where the Soldier was pronounced dead. Since FY21, the Army has lost an average of 31 Soldiers a year to motorcycle mishaps. This mishap was the 10th motorcycle fatality of FY26 and below the number of fatalities for this same time last year.
