There are two lessons I learned from this experience. First, always conduct thorough research (and probably seek medical advice) prior to introducing new supplements into your body.

We thought we had mitigated all of the risks associated with our ride that day. This incident proved that accidents still happen.

As Soldiers, we must maintain our bodies, physical fitness and mental alertness — not only for ourselves, but for our brothers and sisters in arms and our mission. Stay healthy, stay hydrated and accomplish the mission!
