Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month - May 2021
Each year, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration designates May as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. This observance coincides with the beginning of riding season for many Soldiers and also serves as an early kickoff for the critical days of summer.
While this year's season might look different from years past due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Soldiers should still be ready to ride safely once social distancing restrictions lift. The following multimedia products are designed to inform Soldiers, leaders and safety professionals on current Army motorcycle mishap trends and training advancements making their way to installations across the force.
As always, the USACRC wants to hear your stories. If you have a riding experience to share or tips for balancing the desire to ride with quarantine, please contact the Directorate of Communication and Public Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org
. Submitted stories could be featured here during MSAM and on the USACRC home page.
Ride safe, and remember, Readiness Through Safety!
