In accordance with AR 385-10 (DRAFT), the official title of Additional/Collateral Duty Safety Officers has changed to Unit Safety Officers. Safety professionals will now be required to complete the Unit Safety Officer Course (USOC). USOC will provide Army Safety professionals the tools they require to effectively perform Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) duties and to incorporate Risk Management (RM) into all unit planning and activities. The USOC Toolbox will provide reach back capability and standardized training across the field, by housing the following training resources: Lessons, slides, videos, sample SOPs and continuity books.
Please check this page periodically--additional resources will be added as they become available.

Safety Officer's Toolbox - The goal of the PPT is to assist the on-boarding of ASMIS 2.0, the migration to MS Office 365, and to provide answers to Unit Safety Officers (USOs) most common questions.
Nonspecific organizational answers (Army policy, ASMIS, ETC.) should not require change. Specific organizational answers (UICs (Slide 4) organization SOPs (Slide 14), Pre-Accident Plans (Slide 22)) should be updated to reflect the USO’s organization.
