An Army Civilian Corps employee died of burns from a flash fire that occurred on 19 July 2018, at approximately 0720 local, on Letterkenny Army Depot, Pennsylvania. He and two other employees were in the process of moving a 55-gallon drum of paint thinner in the painting kitchen when the fire erupted in the area of the drum. The other two employees sustained serious injuries.
