A 38-year-old Staff Sergeant assigned to the Alabama Army National Guard, Fairhope, Alabama, died in an Army motor vehicle mishap 31 May 2018 near Atmore, Alabama, at 1000 local. The Soldier was operating an M1151A1 HMMWV while towing a second M1151A1 on an interstate highway when he lost control and the vehicles overturned. A passenger in the HMMWV suffered minor injuries.
