Before deploying to Iraq, our transportation unit was understrength, so other Soldiers in the state that had an 88M military occupational specialty (transportation) were pulled from their units to head out with us. This caused some unforeseen issues. For instance, when ground guiding, these Soldiers used different hand and arm signals. At times, this could be frustrating.

Eye injuries in the workplace are a common occurrence. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health estimates that every day about 2,000 U.S. workers suffer job-related eye injuries requiring medical treatment.

Life jackets are more comfortable than ever, and there are many different styles specifically designed for every type of water activity. With that being said, there’s no excuse not to wear one.
