I was on the controls and our route was the same as usual, or so I thought. In typical complacent fashion, I had made a small error without realizing it.

To ensure the whole crew maintains situational awareness, keep an open flow of information, especially in areas where the threat is elevated and the terrain is complex or constricted.

This event served as a wake-up call regarding how I handle my frustration toward others while on the road. Although I can’t control another driver’s behavior, I can control my own.
