As the transition to my next duty assignment neared, I decided to take the family on a vacation. So, we packed our bags and headed to Disney World. My stubbornness while behind the wheel, however, almost caused our vacation to go south.

‘Bear’ of a Dilemma
My son and I were on an overnight hiking trip with his Boy Scout troop. The plan was to hike eight miles up the trail, sleep and then eight miles back. The plan was great in theory, but after we set out, things didn’t turn out quite as planned.
