Heads up, Cager!

According to Urban Dictionary, “cager” is a term coined by motorcyclists for drivers of four-wheeled vehicles. It’s often used in a derogatory way because a cager isn’t willing to share the road with motorcyclists.

Dress for the Crash, Not the Ride

In early March 2019, I received a phone call from my youngest brother. He was going to preach at the church that my grandparents have been members of most of their adult lives. The service would take place in Greeneville, Tennessee, about 500 miles from my home in Enterprise, Alabama. I decided not only to attend, but to ride my motorcycle there.

Luck is not a Plan

There I was, Chalk 2 in a formation of three aircraft. We had just completed our mission and were returning to base. The formation was in echelon left and we were briefed to fly with two to five rotor discs of separation.

PPE: A Matter of Life or Death

I woke up and looked outside at the beautiful morning in Watertown, New York. I was excited because this meant I would be able to ride my motorcycle to work. The riding season in upstate New York is short, so you have to take advantage of the nice days.
